Amazon in trouble? Bloom off the rose? What does this mean, GST?

AOL accrued $1 BILLION in losses on the way to it's first 10 million users and $30 billion in market cap. You would have been one of the first to say the bloom was off the rose there, too.

Amazon is in no trouble. It has the brand equity, capital, online and physical infrastructure, market position and customer base to triple marketing expense this quarter at will...and admit that it could be overkill, but say they're taking no chances. The US military is a comparable.

None of Amazon's competitors this Christmas enjoy these advantages and flexibility.

When you swing for the fences you put all your muscle into it.
