You want to change the world, but meanwhile you want me to change your diapers for you. You think when I was in high school I had full civil rights, could vote, had any funds, had any people? I organized. Talked. Wrote letters to the papers. Gathered people. God, you're hopeless. When you've done something in your life, come back and talk to us. Otherwise, you're nothing but a blowhard who won't put up and can't shut up.

Your one vote is almost meaningless. But if you can move blocs of votes, now you're doing something. In 1972 I worked for the campaign of Nixon's opponent. (we shall not speak his name here) It was exciting and interesting. You don't need full civil rights, (they're a myth anyway) you just need energy and enthusiasm. Campaigns are always needing people to work the phones, go door to door, put up signs, help the elderly get to the polls, etc. GOYA
