I ripped my SSB rep about their analyst and his comments. Response was "they have to say something otherwise why would we pay them".

I was upset so I added to position on the drop.

Bottom line is I believe INTC management, and look to them for guidance.

Didn't you find it strange that MSFT and INTC are to be added to the Dow and both stocks are downgraded? They brought the prices down didn't they, just before they had to be bought. Now they can buy and then upgrade. I laughed the other morning when I heard about INTC. I said that MSFT would be next. Sure enough by the time I got to work it had been downgraded too.

Am I off base, or did I sense that the Intel executives were irritated with the press/analyst comments about Y2K, capacity, and demand in general? I felt there was kind of an "in your face" attitude.

Not that I didn't enjoy it.
