I hope you are right about the government but I read the SEC digest almost every day and it is discouraging to see the cases that are being brought against crooks. Most of them seem to be concerning things that have happened 3 years or more ago it seems like and then when they fine someone it is a small fine in relationship and the fine is dropped in a lot of cases because the person fined is able to show that they are broke. A lot of the brokers that get suspensions get them for a short time like 30 or 60 days then they just go down the street and start over. Right now the SEC seems to be going after scamsters that offer what they call prime bank notes and pyramid schemes across the net more than going after stock fraud.
