Sure, if you'ld be interested in giving her a grant, I'm sure she'd be willing to talk about it -g-

She doesn't work in a field conducive to research studies, unless they are why more of her product isn't being sold. The problem with studying the 30's in relation to today is the lack of compliance back then. Many violent crimes went unreported (child and wife abuse, "justified" manslaughter, simple assualt, etx)

Human nature being what it is, I'd say that there has been no change in real crime in the last 100 years. Now, reporting in the modern day has inflated how much true crime shows up on the books, and drugs have created a whole new class of crime that didn't exist before Reefer Madness.

The biggest school murder in US history occured in the 20s or 30s. A school superintendent (board member) placed TNT in the celler of the school and detonated it once the children arrived. About 30 dead, these things are cyclical, and in 20 years or so, they will be distant memories again..... maybe.
