David: No telling how long the delay will effect G. The last time around, the Kazs were after money. (Russia was not paying an agreed to amount for the use of the launch site, $150 million a year I think, cause Russia said Kaz owed them money.) They settled that and things picked up. This time they might really be interested in safety - which then should only delay the Proton launches. It is hard to say how the relationships are structured. Soyuz and Proton are different folks so maybe G can get some slack. Heck Delta 2 laid off people here locally due to lack of business (Iriduim was the identified culprit) maybe they are already on the phone. (Think they left a Globalstar phone around as gift?) The range is open come on down! Jeff Vayda
