David: No telling how long the delay will effect G*. The last time around, the Kazs were after money. (Russia was not paying an agreed to amount for the use of the launch site, $150 million a year I think, cause Russia said Kaz owed them money.) They settled that and things picked up. This time they might really be interested in safety - which then should only delay the Proton launches.

It is hard to say how the relationships are structured. Soyuz and Proton are different folks so maybe G* can get some slack.

Heck Delta 2 laid off people here locally due to lack of business (Iriduim was the identified culprit) maybe they are already on the phone. (Think they left a Globalstar phone around as gift?)

The range is open come on down!
