The past couple of days must be a nightmare for a lot of mutual fund managers. I bet a lot of them had just started to feel good about having thinned the volatile techs out of their portfolios as "window dressing" for the end of the reporting period, in order to make it look like whatever meager returns they'd attained had involved only minimal risk. And then a huge rally by those pesky techs ensured that any portfolio without a full complement of them would underperform the market. JMHO, of course, and purely speculation.
