While contrarions are indeed useful(and necessary), there is no room for those who proclaim their opinion as Gospel. This is the line JS crossed many times.

Richard:<<As for Jacob, while I don't always agree with him, I have learned from him, and I appreciate that his posts are always thoughtful and based on facts, which is a lot more than can be said about some of the bears who poke their noses in here>>

Richard, his personal attacks on others here were uncalled for. Quite frankly, he and his inflated ego can hibernate for the entire Alaskan winter for all I care. Jeff

Richard,

I don't know if you remember me, but I know you have always been even tempered and added humor and insight. I see now that two others have responded to you so there is little to add. But you are talking about an individual who flamed and flamed for a year while amat struggled and when it recently dipped he returned. His attacks on Brian were awful and frankly occurred at a time when Brian freely admitted he was reasonably new to the game, and was too aggressive near the top and was trying to hang in there. Some lent a hand, some tried to bury him. Brian has earned the "amat bull" championship title the hard way, and earned every dime of the 4x-6x return he has gotten the past 12 months.

It is entirely responsible to look at this and wonder today if we have come too far and what should we do NOW. But it was reckless and not helpful to drop in and say, "the end is nigh."
