<All the shenanigans going on here on the street. When the time arrives so will the company and the stock price, period.>

FWIW... for a stock that has been badly beaten, at this time of the year, the behavior of ATHM is not unusual at all. The longs will have their "day in the sun"... right now ATHM is fundamentally sound, dripping with pessimism and holding its base quite well in this particular season. That's not to say it won't shake out the weak before it heads up.

The street by street simile comes from the difficulty the allies had trying to take back towns from the Germans during the Normandy Invasion. The Germans knew they couldn't afford to lose and so they made it extremely difficult for the allied advance. How tough would it be to take Jerkwater, Texas? You'd have to kill everyone and that would take a specially armed army which outnumbered the citizens by 3 to 1.
