What on earth are you talking about. I have owned this stock for as long as anyone, and the only thing predictible is that it is unpredictable. The week before 54 pt earnings run(in one day) Q plumeted recovered and slid down again. In actuality Qcom looked like it was about to collapse. The day before earnings it finally showed a litlle life and then POW 54PTS. At the time I thought like you did, and it was the one and only time I bought puts. Needless to say I lost 27,000 on puts in one day. Though I made 30X that long
I wasnt happy about loosing faith. STOP trying to guess momentum and forget about it. Gramm Tanaka was just on CNBC
saying He liked Q better then Nokia, or Ericy because they were the "INTC of wireless". If that is true who cares what the numbers are tomorrow in three years we will be 200-300%
higher unless Q management does something incredibly stupid.

Getting a little technical on me, but I understand where you are coming from. I realize that the NYSE is nothing but a party for the specialist and that the NAZ is nothing more than an electronic MARKET MAKERS circus but anyone putting in an order that hits the order board substantially under the going bid and ask is actually doing the same thing. The reason these orders are reported at the close and open and in a sudden manner is so the shorts are not in a position to capitalize but mainly so the MM's can make their money. Technically there is no such thing as a true STOP because none can be guaranteed. Some brokerage houses make an attempt to sell this but it is just a sales tool.
