My tribute to the thread ... This week for me has been unbeleivable. I am up 23% for the week in my diversified portfolio of 30 to 40 stocks and a couple of mutual funds. Big winners this week for me included ISLD, CLRS, EGAN, VIAD, JNIC. Wish I could thank you all personally, but don't even remember who gets all the credit, except Kim for sure, and I'm pretty sure gizmo&jack was the one pushing CLRS. ISLD I might have done on my own, because I knew what Sandpiper was before they bought it, but I had that same "deer in the headlights" thing going on that someone else described. It may have been just another coulda, woulda, shoulda if not for you folks here.

Rarely would I make a big stock investment that my gut doesn't tell me too. I guess what I like so much about this thread is that it is complementary to my gut, instead of opposed to it. Rather than being pulled places I don't want to be, I'm led to places that I do want to be, but have just overlooked.

Anyway, you all are cool. Thanks again for everything.

- Ed

P.S. My 5 largest going into next week: QCOM, JNIC, AOL, SFE & INFR.

TDG...I'm also a big QCOM shareholder and anytime I have a down day on my momo plays, I simply sit back and gaze at my Q and Softbank gains...makes up for a whole lotta bad trades....not that I've had too many in the past few!!

Also, pulled a dopey move on Friday and sold my JNIC...Schwab not being able to give me RTQ or Telebroker access on the stock was like driving blindfolded and I figured better to close with some cash in pocket...mad as heck...could not trade ISLD initially due to being conflicted out and closed out JNIC when I know it will continue to run, but no tools in hand made it difficult...I know I'll regret this one.
