i am not a ta guy, i rely on zeev and bp for that,...but i do look at charts for patterns...so do traders.

during the period immediately preceeding, during, and following the fall comdex in 1997, rmbs went from $40 to $60 on news. +50%

in the same comdex time in 1998, rmbs went from $60 to $110, again on news. +90%

now it is 1999, and we are here again...except this time we we have rmbs news "and" product releases by all major pc manufacturers "and" for a bonus...the gorilla, and chief umpire, intel just put handcuffs on the competition.

so what do you predict for 1999? $67 to $1XX.00

gorillas fight sneaky, tricky and dirty. i like that.

edit...just noticed i got three 3s again...did you know 3 is my lucky number?

three 3s, three times in three days....hmmm...wonder what that means?

Re: your team cannot play...

No, Intel is desperately trying to keep the competition off the field, since it knows it cannot win. If rambus were any good, this ridiculous lawsuit wouldn't be necessary.

Remember that Intel has been happy to have VIA sell chipsets for the P6 bus for years - including chipsets that allowed running the bus at 133MHZ and higher. Suddenly it's become an issue now that Intel can't let the poor performance of rambus face any competition.

Do you need any clearer signal that Intel has realized that Rambus performance is so poor that it is unmarketable?

It won't work - look at the Intergraph lawsuit against Intel and Intel's various lawsuits against AMD.
