You guys have been talking about repairing and Norton for so long now. It's simpler, IMO, to just backup your data (to two places), re-format your hard drive and re-install windows and your software.

Fresh, clean, fast and efficient. You gian hard drive space, get a clean, fast registry and clarity in figuring out any new problems which might arise. Having many drivers on the Windows CD, along with plug and play, has made this process much easier.

BTW, Win2000 works great. You can get it for $60. All the features of Win98 with the stability of NT.
