ed: Good point. But I think the judge can't figure out what to do. There really is no case but since he made such a show against MSFT in his courtroom how can he come down on the side of the angels (MSFT). On the other hand if he figures a way to rule against MSFT he knows he will be overturned with a certainty once again.

He indeed is hoping that a settlement is reached. JFD
