I opened the an account so that I can take a look at their "trader workstation" (TWS) to see if I can use them. Here are what I found:

1. The TWS program is DOS-like. There are thirty some quote/order pages that one can put his/her symbols in. 15 symbols or so can be visible (without scrolling) each page. Bid size, Bid, Ask, Ask size, Last, Last size are displayed.

2. User-friendliness is definitely an area to improve. For example, the program thinks you want to delete a symbol if you click on it, and Insert/Delete keys do not work.

3. The window size of TWS is not resizable. It is 1024x768 or something like that.

4. There were a bunch of symbols were not recognizable by their system so they are not tradable. For example, AGIL, QNTS and some other high priced internet stocks. I sent them more than 10 symbols yesterday and they were added today. The above two were found today. It takes one or two days to be added into their system.

5. The problem that bothers me the most has been the reliability of their quote info. Specifically, the bid/ask size are much larger than my CyberX and QCharts quote feed. For example, most of the internet stocks were quoted 1000 shares at the bid and ask. If you have traded these days, you know it is not this case. MM's only post 100 shares most of the time. I have been talking to them trying to find out if I can trust the bid/ask information on the TWS. But they insisted their info was correct. I have an appointment with them tomorrow to go through this.

6. The better part has been that they do answer their phone and reply emails around the clock.

Hope to hear from someone who actually traded with them soon.
