The TrailBlazers are definitely going to be tough again. They have the best GM in pro basketball now that Paul Allen will let him concentrate on BB. I can't believe our Sonics unloaded Schrempf to Portland for nothing. The Lakers could jell behind a tough coach; and, the Spurs are still there. Maybe this will be Miami's year in the East.

How about the Sonics. Down by 17 to Utah and Sonics came out on top despite a big game from Malone. That's 3-0 for the Sonics. S.O'Neil turned aggressive and fell hard to his tempter (2 technicals and it was bye-bye)and took L.A. with him. Portland kept their cool and the victory.
