Maya, be patient. Look at MOT when it announced the
merger with GIC it lost 20% of its value, only during this recent rally did it regain its value. HLIT dropped 30% when this deal leaked. In just a couple of days it has recovered 2/3 of the loss. The way this deal is structured there are a lot of unknowns (no floor or ceiling on the HLIT purchase, approval from the street, approval from both sets of shareholders, the spin-off or sale of semi-cube), as these unknowns get sorted out I think you will see anywhere from $66-80+ per share in FMV during the 1st qtr 2000.

"Is it concerns about semi side's loss of synergy with Divi such as in settops?" What loss of synergy? AB CLEARLY stated that HLIT has agreed to use CUBE's silicon. Yes? Stop worrying. You're underestimating the ignorance of the market. Give it some time to educate itself. I bet quite a bit of education occurred over the weekend.
