MB, >>The bulls will give up quickly, IMHO.

You could be right, but IMO the speculators will need to get hit over the head with something.

<<The bulls will give up quickly<<

Give up what? Sure the indexes were run up for those big bonuses and yes they'll be profit taking this week. So what? Every dip will meet more buying, indexes will be jury rigged even more and the Naz 3000 line will be fought like General Custards last stand. (Once again it will be the bears getting shot with arrows and scalped.) I'm surprised you don't understand how the new era game is played. But then maybe you do understand which is why you won't hold your puts for more than a week on the QQQ.

BTW, I am disappointed in the names you called my baby bell SBC. I don't call your baby ugly.<G> I made good money trading SBC last week and I will buy the dip @$48.50. I also traded out of BEL/GTE because I think some profitable assets will have to be surrendered for the merger to be approved. See I am a bull that thinks about my investments. Big vote day on Tuesday for the QWST/USW merger. If the market sells on the news, I'll be the second one out the door. <G>
