I still think there'll be a Y2K panic of some kind. I don't fear failure of power systems in the US, but banking an financial systems abroad -- you betcha ...

Ike, I can't believe that I agree with the Ole 49er, but I do. We had a famous bet on Prodigy about MU when it was priced in the 90s. She said $120 and I said $20 by a certain date. True, it did not hit my $20, but it was at $27 on that date. <g>

But if the BK hits everything equally, SWC is in deep Chiemsee. Unless, of course, platinum goes up due to its precious metal status. But I have my bets in long puts for BK. SWC and the golds and diamonds are a hedge bet that it may not happen, it may not happen too soon, it may not be as bad as I expect, it may be centered in the tech stocks or it may be centered in the USA.

That is why my long position is only 10%.
