Tony,
Let me reiterate.
I think there will be a boom especially in some Y2K related stocks. The question that is still unanswered is "when". If everything goes as smooth as you think...the lows in the market will have occured prior to January. If Y2K is as bad as others say, the low will occur after that. Being as sure as you are, loading up on your favorites this year sounds like a good strategy.
I also know that Y2K problems overseas can bring US down...are you looking overseas?
