" And the possibility of privitization is very
small."

What makes you say that? The gov't is making all the right noises to deregulate, US companies (and possibly gov't) will continue to put pressure on them to do so, and the vastly better content offerings of SIFY vs. the monop all point toward BIG growth for SIFY. The question is whether they have the management to pull it off. All the external factors have lined up like bowling pins.

I do agree to watch out for Satyam, SIFY's parent. That one could be really huge.

We're going to see an onslaught of India-based IPOs on the Naz in the next six months. If SIFY executes (and Merrill is doing a lot of the advising here), they'll have first-to-market (in a non-monop sense) advantage and should grow like a weed.

PS -- and yes, I didn't mean to imply that SIFY was analogous to Infosys; just pointing out that they are the next Indian company coming out of the gate on the Naz in this wild race to get as many Indians online as possible in the shortest amount of time.
