Good morning GZ, My apologies to you and the other contestants for my role in bringing about the premature end to this contest. I must confess that when I sent that private message to David, I did not anticipate that it would cause the end of the contest. Despite all its limitations it was a good contest and most of the contestants derived varying benefits from it -- as is evident from both the public and private messages that I have received. I am grateful to you for participating -- and really regret that you feel let down by its premature termination. This is especially bothersome to me because you were one of three individuals that I personally invited to take part. You and another person were gracious enough to accept the invitation -- one declined. I received numerous private messages from contestants expressing their wish that the contest continue -- but there was no one willing or able to be the score-keeper. I would have taken on the role myself, except that I am well aware of my limitations -- and I know that this is something that I would screw-up. Those who know me at SI, are aware that my level of attention to detail is not one of my strengths. As an aside, I am in awe of what you were able to achieve in terms of a return in the span of less than a month. For someone who professes to be a position trader, I'd have to say that you are a darned good day/short-term trader as well. I would encourage you to take part in one of these real competitions that are held from time to time. I noticed that in the latest issue of Futures magazine, Robbins Trading Company -- who I know nothing about other than the fact that they are a brokerage firm who have been around a while -- is sponsoring a championship in futures trading. I don't know anything about the details or the terms of the contest. I suspect that you would do very well if you tried your hand at it. My regards to you and all the other contestants -- and my apologies, again.
