Dear Mel: "COST should be showing some earning numbers any day now ... looking forward to some good news!"

Mel, on October the 7th COST released 4th qtr and year end numbers for period ending 8/29/99. First quarter doesnt end until 11/30 approx. Numbers unlikely to be out before Jan. 2,000. So DONT hold your breath. haha.
Oregon sure has its citizens trained to accept high income tax!! Here in Fla. we have the sunshine but still WE DONT ACCEPT income taxes AT ALL. Gets voted down everytime they try. Sales tax is 6% but food eaten at home, medicine and the like is exempt. Basically we let the tourists (we triple our population every year in tourists) carry the load. haha. Thats as it should be as they clutter up our airports and highways every winter and bring there flu down with them too. haha. JDN
