JDN:

You are right! I just remembered a news line item on the Yahoo page that I use to follow the stocks I own ... for COST there was a news item ... something to the effect that ..."OCT. 27th - Earnings Announcement scheduled" ... so I took it that there would be an earnings report out soon! And, I will take your counsel... not hold my breath, but will breathe great quantities of crystal clean, fresh air!!! Or, on some occasions I get to breathe great quantities of crystal clean fresh rain!!<GG>

OT - Florida vs. Oregon

I've spent time in both states. Florida doesn't have income taxes? Not in name, maybe, but they have an intangibles tax on all common stock holdings as of 12/31, plus hidden taxes they call surcharges, user fees, excises, franchise fees, tolls, special use district fees, and just about every other synonym for "tax" they can dream up that isn't spelled with an "x". Factor in the costs of administrating at every level and the net result is Florida taxes its residents heavier than Oregon does. The biggest difference is the politicians in Florida steal most of the revenues.
