I stand corrected..however I have never seen or even heard of candles in ancient Egypt..and the only metal I have seen among their artifacts is Gold..They had tons of that..The first time I saw the King Tut artifacts..they were spread out all over the Cairo museum. I was able to touch them and move about through these very strangely beautiful Treasures.I recall so much Gold,
hammered to a layer so thin it was like tissue paper then it was
engraved..It is hard to believe now..that everything is in glass cases..The only metal I can ever recall seeing from ancient
antiquary is the hinges on the Solar Boat which was dug up from a mastaba beside the great Pyramid of Mycerinus...
