His real strength was in one on ones or small groups where he could actually press the flesh. I met him in a small political forum in Manchester, NH back in '87. Very impressive in this setting. JLA

That was shocking, the way Kemp refused to go after Clinton/Gore. Kemp's performance was especially poor considering that Dan Quayle bested Gore in 1992.

That effectively ended any political aspirations Kemp may have had.
