Wow, Kevin. I took that one to be understood. Let's see where the communication breakdown is...The decision was GUMM's to turn the results over to NEJM and then, when NEJM hadn't done so by the beginning of the cold season, it was GUMM's decision to give AJIC (who in the Hell is NJIR) a shot.

The second study used entirely different protocol(innoculation vs wild virus). Different facilities, different facilitators etc. The publication of the first clinical does not preclude NEJM from publishing a completely separate clinical. Of course, it really is less important now. Until, the study reveals that Zicam can help prevent the cold, that is.....
