Pat,

There's no way you can put a positive spin on weakness in the US.

No kidding. Carriers have never spent as much as they are spending now. This is clearly the reason Alan is bowing out.

I think Terry's throwing the baby out with the bath water.
I wonder how much reign Alan really had. Terry is not one to let go of power very easily. You're closer to the situation than I am, though Pat. What do you think, was Alan really running the show or was he just a TM puppet ?

I don't know Pearse Flynn but I understand he's done a great job in Europe.Perhaps that's enough. Though I have my doubts

Yeah. So do a lot of people, I'm sure.

Pat, please refer to my statements in #14003. Its a management team that has failed. For Matthews to act as though he was isolated from this disaster is a pathetic act. It is also hard to believe that Newbridge's board is truly independent and, therefore, I doubt that those individuals will be able to successfully point any fingers at Matthews.

As a shareholder, we are in serious trouble, and there is no way to quickly effect a turnaround. I know that you have not appreciated my ongoing negative statements, but today's disaster does not make me feel any better for having been so pessimistic.
