Nick: The Super Bulls and BULLS who attended all those SEMINARS/Conferences and kept on hyping A.L's capabilities may be in tears this morning. They have been now proven wrong about NN's revenue, earnings, product demand and the COO. It was obvious that heads were going to roll. See my post on CEO's. It is proven beyond doubt that NN cannot compete against the big boys. Why would anyone buy NN's eqpt. in preference to LU/ASND or CSCO's when they have the feeling that NN's survival is now purely dependent on a take over. The next Q's will be even harder and one with margins under severe pressure. The stock will languish for quite a while just as COMS and CS did. 12-18 mths of dead money. However if NN appoints an Underwriter to find a buyer, investors may get a reasonable P/S. The more time is wasted the lower the sale price.
