PURE SPECULATION FOLLOWS: Interesting that Scott McNealy joins GE's board (supposedly to bring GE up to speed in ecommerce, he is also Jack Welch's Golf partner) and simultaneousl Welch announces his retirement the same day. Could it be that GE is purchasing SUNW or McNeely might be selected to run GE? Sounds possible. Zander can run SUNW, he knows how to "kick ass" as well. Wow it'll be fun if it happens, especially the meetings that could occur between McNeely (as CEO) having a business meeting with Billy Big Bucks regarding MSNBC. You have to hand it to McNeely, he's the only CEO that I have seen that is smart enough and has enough guts to go toe-to-toe with Gates and get under his skin. And I think a GE/SUNW merger makes a lot of sense. Do you think Gates might be sh*tting his pants on this one? AGAIN THIS IS PURE SPECULATION.
