Even though your statement may be accurate, there is no logic to your implied hypothesis.

If you're a "trader" only, then lack of a 3 day consecutive stock price increase may have some meaning.

The facts are that ATON closed the first day of trading from the IPO at 75, one of the top performing IPO's of the year. The closing price today, is 78, or 3 points higher.
Volatility is part of the territory for new IPO's, and it has traded from 68-122.

The fundamentals are strong, and ATON is undervalued relative to competitors, but let's not forget that ATON has only had 27 actual trading days, not even enough time to validate a chart or trading pattern.

People buy and sell stock for many reasons, but I've never heard (not having had more than 2 up days in a row) as a reason for profit taking.

I guess it's all about expectations.. I buy on fundamentals and technicals..and I expect ATON to be a winner for a long time.

Regards,

Christine
