I read one market rule that seems to fit:

"Trade in confidence"

The only way that you could have confidence is that you have a system that has been tested. Then, you can have confidence in it. You just execute it. It may have to be boring to be profitable. That way you won't mind the losses because they were expected. You won't get too excited about the profits because they were also expected. I am very far from this goal.
