Ted, <What burns my butt is that you all spend the entire day comparing yourselves to AMD rather than your true equals, the rest of the nifty 50 like Cisco>

I see. So it's all right for AMD supporters like yourself to compare AMD to Intel all day, but it "burns your butt" when Intel supporters make the same comparisons.

Thank you, Ted. Not only have you just proved that you hold a dual standard, but you just proved that your dual standard extends even further than I thought.

Maybe for your sake (and your butt), I should just shut up about AMD from now on and talk about Intel vs. the "nifty fifty" like Cisco.

Ted,

AMD is holding up pretty good.

PS. I heard from Toni Beckham that live webcast will be at 8:30 am PT on 11/11/99.

Now this seems to be designed to impact the stock price to the max. IMHO.

I can see $22-24/share prior to next weeks meeting if the big boys figure out good news.

Of course Jerry could screw things up and have the stock implode during/after the meeting.

I plan on disposing of my recent calls/puts if it hits this level - a triple in a few weeks is not too bad.

regards,

Kash

> [Sanders] has said he wants to be a competitor and so does Via....so what. You don't put them in the same league.

Oh, yes I do. It's just that INTC is the NY Yankees and AMD is the Oakland A's. But things can always change. I've never been a Yankees fan, myse'f.
