I have been using both market and limit. I find the limit orders useful when making buy/sells around a support level. I only use market when I MUST get into position.

On another topic:

My main fault is overtrading. My positional trades have worked out quite a bit better then my daytrades. If 10 points a day is your stated goal I think you will have to daytrade much better than I have been. ;-)

Point is, with positional trades entry of limit vrs market is really irrelevant, IMO. Perhaps some of the better daytraders on the thread can give more insight.
