I read Q's quarterly release, and will await merlin's take on it. The numbers look great. One of the keys is how it will look without the Phone Division.

I don't like the % decrease in R&D spending, from 24% to 17%, but, since it is a % of sales, and sales are up so much, it still means a $ increase in R&D spending

Hear! Hear! I figured I had missed it, then it would keep running up and I was sure I had missed it. I was looking at a momentum play. Read this thread and got more ideas than I did from the QCOM thread. I stuck my margined neck out for 50 shares, now to become 200. It's not much but it has given me an appreciation for what ideas there are to find here. I still have a lot to learn, I thought I understood when to buy & hold and when to play changes, I have come to realize that there is a great deal more to learn and here is a great place to start. Thank you all.
