Thanks for the thoughtful response. It appears you trade on a much bigger scale than I intend to. I'm a one-lot kind of guy (at least at first). As you mentioned, the reason I look for support and resistance exits is because of the change in the risk/reward on the trade. I am big on risk management. I'm not rich and this is my living, so to some degree every trade I'm using "scared money".

Once I start trading bigger, I think I could scale out (as you suggested) at S/R points. Anyway, I've got to go get in my run... I'll try to get back to you some more later on today. Thanks again for the response.
