Dan, it's hardly a "logic" as you call it. You and we will just get to "wait and see", won't we? Here is a post that I composed for RB, which may nmake sense here, FWIW: *** WINR "WRAP UP" ... for new investors *** 1) WINR has exhibited excellent growth and outstanding profit margins in the gaming transaction processing area. 2) They are entering new areas which may become very fruitful in late 1999 and 2000 3) WINR exhibited (as one of the "silent" longs pointed out to me today) a long "quiet period" for many weeks about a year ago (similar to lately), just before announcing the start of their transaction revenues and just before the stock took off late last year. 4) WINR management has admittedly not done a consistent job of communication with Internet Board investors or an accurate job of estimating the financial filing date, but this is a much less serious problem in light of the successes and profits, which ultimately determine stock valuation. Plus, WINR has many investors outside these boards who are not influenced by what we say. WINR RATING SYSTEM: BUSINESS PLAN: A EXECUTION OF PLAN: A SPEED TO PROFITABILITY/EARNINGS GROWTH: A+ INVESTOR RELATIONS: C- (at least they have a I/R firm and have done a CC and Q/A) OVERALL RATING: B+ REWARD/RISK RATIO (at current levels): A+ This is my opinion only and should not be taken as anything other than a fun exercise. At this point NOTHING THAT ANYONE SAYS ON THIS BOARD WILL HAVE ANY LIKELY EFFECT ON BUYING OR SELLING anyway. There is lots of energy exerted here, but when it all boils down to it, you wither believe WINR is for real and transacting very profitable business with much future potential or you don't. I have always been impressed by their 65% or greater profit margins and their seemingly excellent reputation among their clients, especially as compared to other companies who have had negative publicity with their transaction system. I have also been impressed by their ability to change their "game plan" when new opportunities opened up to them and sieze the opportunity. Plus they are very hard workers. They still need to fix their credibility with investors on the Internet boards, but make no mistake that there are many silent "longs" who could care less what is said here. Long term investors realize that they are in no danger of delisting, which would be the much more serious matter. They also recognize that filing will occur and that the stock price will probably not go up much when it does. Becoming fully filing will be a relief, but its build-up is much exagerrated. You will all see that this is so. It is the other news coming out after the filing that will be of big interest. So we wait, as we waited in late 1998 for the filing and next major set of news and hopefully major stock price appreciation. The talk and speculation will go on here, but what matters most is what happens out there. Time will tell.
