Thanks for the nice compliment. I sure caught heck here on SI from some of the perma bears <g> but then even a broken clock is right twice a day <g>. I use a chart program called Q-Charts. I've used half a dozen different quote providers and help with development and beta test for one of their competitors. LG from the MDA thread recommended it and was right on the money. Larry (LG) is one of the sharpest people I've met on SI and was sure right on that call! Anyway, I use the standard stuff: 10 EMA, 50 and 200 SMA, Stochastics (14,1,3), Bollinger bands on day charts and 1% channels on intraday charts, RSI (mainly only on longer timeframe charts-- week, day, hour), MACD sometimes.

The statistical analysis, unfortunately, is done the old fashioned way... lot's of number crunching. LG on the MDA thread, once again, supplied me with the raw data for crunch the stats on the $NDX. Yahoo provides the raw stats for about everything else.
