Billy,

Nation wide Charlie is offering any Adelphia customer FREE everything...box, install, and free six months if they switch over and show them a canceled check to Adelphia. Needless to say the phones are ringing of the hook locally.

ps...how about that QCOM...wow!!

CUBE's silence is deafening again. They're obviously negotiating. The stock is just ridiculously undervalued. I just don't know why the market is paralyzed about this deal. It's not that complicated. Even a hyper-conservative valuation would put CUBE at $52-$55. Yes?

What the Hell is going on here. It's as if we're all staring at a three foot long rod and yet we're all saying it's one foot. In psychology, that dynamic's called "pluralistic ignorance".

MPEG2 Decoders are becoming commodity silicon so
encoding looks like C-Cube's one trick.

Satellite bandwidth limits, no return path, as well as a
few other transmission issues make fiber more attractive.

DWDM is going to become much cheaper.

Cable in the next decade is going to be nothing
like it's been in the past decade because of it's
increased data capacity over fiber.
