Good over,

Your comments:

<< Does the Nain-Rae tectonic suture go E-W, if so how far? Does the discovery at Ryan's Pond increase the likelyhood of more discoveries? Is the depth of Ryan's Pond too deep and why is the nickle concentration less than the ovoid? Is a pattern developing? >>

1) Nope, about N20øW for hundreds of kms--often mapped as the E-edge of the Abloviak Shear Zone--sometimes sutures are reactivated as shears.

2) I think it does, time will tell though.

3) RP presently is probably too deep to be economic, but its grade and volume may both increase westward toward the suture (re-read my earlier post).

4) Probably, patterns (and new ways of thinking) often lead to new exploration models and new discoveries within a district. Success often breeds success in exploration.

Good Luck,
T.
