>>I just don't understand

William: here are the factors that went into my decision to short ICGE:

1. ICGE has had an incredible rise in value since it's IPO in early August.

2. The past 2 days ICGE has risen nearly 30 points, or roughly 28% on no news.

3. European banks stand to raise interest rates tomorrow.

4. We're likely to get a bad employment report on Friday.

5. The overall market has been up for the past week.

I believe there is a good chance that the market will be down tomorrow and Friday based on the above. And that being the case, I believe that stocks that have overextended themselves, such as ICGE, may go down more than others. This is why I took out a small short position on ICGE - and believe me the position was small.

Similar logic to the above has allowed me to make a good deal of money shorting other stocks.

Thanks,
-Eric

Why not, say, rather choose eBay (in a cooler sector) with substantial new supply? I AM NOT suggesting this trade, by
the way.

Since I have not done enough DD, what is going wrong with Ebay and is it over so I may buy it??

Glenn

Thank you for any thoughts.
