Guy, thanks for the TA lesson. Sounds like it helps you buy at bottoms and protect yourself at the tops. I can see that it helps you maintain discipline. No worse feeling than being attached to a stock and riding it all the way down, and kicking yourself every inch of the way. Watching the moving average (50-100 day for JDSU and QCOM) for signals to buy is about as far as I've gotten into it. I see why you were contemplating puts today. You were patient and timed it well. Based on your chart where do you think JDSU is going? Does your chart work for SPU's? Kinda looks like a fork. Can you switch and reverse if the trend goes the other way. Is the charting your own or is it a software package? Thanks in advance for your help.
