Playa- Tried to test your theory about fewer posts on SI....went to the hot list to see if I could find one of the last posts made. Kinda ironically it came from the Qualcomm thread:

I think you are right, but we have seen a real pickup in posting in just the last few weeks with the market back on a tear. The level of posts tend to follow the market. When we have increases in volumes of trading then the posting increases as well. Also, as we approach 12 million....there will be the usual grub-fest posting. (don't ever confuse quantity with quality!) OTOH perhaps we can track the slow down back to A@P's suspension! LOL

That's a seasonal slowdown that always happens in the summer, from what I've seen.

The pace is picking back up now and has been for a few weeks. Dramatically.
