E.R.,

Agree completely that Pat has contributed more to this thread than I've seen from any other individual on any other thread that I follow. And her contributions have been highly valued by myself, and I'm certain, most others.

But you're right. This latest warning has been especially trying on most of us "longs". There's no reason to answer every nuance in every post.

The fact remains that NN has some 350 of the very largest customers in the world. They have a necessary set of products, and a solid pipeline of near, mid and long term improvements and innovations coming.

NN has an outstanding track record for technical innovation.

I still believe that the Marketing / Sales processes and forces that Alan built will serve NN very well during the next few years.

So I fully intend to hold what I have. I'm leaning toward adding to my position at these prices but have not yet done so. I fully expect to see a triple from today's close within 2 years and possibly a double within 1 year.

Unlike most of the posts I've seen, I'm not yet eager to see NN get taken out.

Good luck in getting that eagle.

Ian.

HIm and Cowpland are the 2 gigantic assholes of the canadian market.

they are great entrepreneurs, but every company they build to medium size, they bring into a death spiral...

Corel, now Newbridge

I was an owner of this POS for a long time, and sold my averaged down 200 shares at a small loss earlier this summer.

I am so happy, and hate this company with a ** passion **.

Typical Matthews & Cowpland incompetence.

Mitel, Corel , Newbridge etc etc...

Buy Gorillas, not chimps with delusions of grandeur.

Cisco, NT and maybe a bit of LU...
JDSU for fiber
Qualcomm for CDMA wireless

Apart from NT & JDSU (more american than canadian now anyway) , canadian companies inevitably disappoint and amercian companies get bigger and stronger

Dump this POS soon.

take care
Jean
