DMRK-->Float countdown

The company has now finished its 1998 buyback program, leaving the total shares outstanding at 5.3 million. Subtract out the shares owned by management and institutions and the float remaining is 1.3 million shares.
Last week, the company announced a new stock repurchase approval from the board for another 1 million shares. Damark currently has 8.7 million in cash and sufficient cash flow to buy back these shares at current prices.

The company has no debt and they are selling more product on the internet than the many of well known ecommerce players like The Sharper Image and Skymall, yet each of these has a significantly higher market cap.

The charts indicate that someone is finally catching on to the Damark story - as we have obviously been under accumulation from someone other than the company buying its own shares. Whether its in anticipation of the Mass Media campaign that will begin soon or just bargain hunters is anybody's guess.

It still surprises me when other ecommerce plays are getting so much attention and Damark only trades 14,000 shares. Sooner or later someone will notice this company and the small float will make for some interesting trading days ahead.
