starting from a base of 420m phones and going to 1 bil in 3 yrs. doesn't seem like that spectacular.
but when you think that 1/4 of those phones are still analoge and 1/4 of those phones will be lost/stolen/broken and maybe another 1/4 will be simply upgraded each time a faster and more powerful phone comes out coupled with desertion of tdma. then you can say as far as we're concerned there are only aprox. 100m phones today. 100m to 1 bil in 3 yrs is spectacular.
