I just purchased this book per Bob Brinker's recommendation:

I agree. This is an excellent book.

I believe I mentioned it on the thread awhile back. I particularly like Chapter 5.

"Men have an indistinct notion that if they keep up this activity of joint stocks and spades long enough all will at length ride somewhere, in next to no time, and for nothing; but though a crowd rushes to the depot, and the conductor shouts "All aboard!" when the smoke is blown away and the vapor condensed, it will be perceived that a few are riding, but the rest are run over,---and it will be called, and will be, "A melancholy accident."

MrGreenJeans re book recommendation. I saw the author in CNBC being interviewed by Ron Insana a few times and was very impressed. I found the title completely difficult to remember so appreciate you reminding me. One problem though I can think of is if this disturbing talk of Bob leaving the show is true. If I read this book and didn't get Bob's advice at least through the newsletter saying to stay long I probably would be wiped out on my short positions<g>
