I didn't get to talk with David Russell, but apparently he didn't give an overly optimistic picture of UP's situation. THAT makes me feel better. I feel that we've got at least a 4 or 5 year wait before UP becomes something investors would want to put their money into (if we assume that UP actually will be able to make it). In the meantime, an awful lot of people are going to get tired of seeing their stock selling for C$1 or even less and are going to dump their holdings, figuring they can put their money to better use. IMHO, Ultra Petroleum is NOT a stock for a quick score, even for someone who bought it under C$1, except for those occasions when its price is temporarily manipulated up so that some who hold stock from the private placements can sell.
