It's too bad you can't find any of those early David Duke newspapers. That racist and anti-Semitic stuff has a value to people who are committed to fighting them. I know a bookseller from Torrington, CT who worked for the Anti-Nazi League in the 60's. The now defunct ANL was a lunch box version of the ADL. He would infiltrate Klan groups and nazi groups and report back to the ANL. I believe he passed on info to the ADL also. He told me that at one neo-nazi meeting he stood up and told them who he really was and why he was there. He informed them he was going to report back that there is nothing to worry about because they're (the nazis) are so bloody stupid they couldn't think their way out of a paper bag. He then turned on his heel and walked out. Nobody bothered him. Probably too stunned. Another time he said he was marked for a severe roughing up, or worse, by a racist group when he was in Manhattan. He was tipped off that some goons were going to wait for him on the roof of his building and swoop down when he got home. So he gets home to his building, calmly goes to the door that leads to the roof, locks it, then goes to lay down for awhile before packing his belongings. He said he could hear some commotion and crashing about, but he didn't give it much thought. He never found out how they got off that roof. LOL, I'm sure he was driven by a passionate belief in the work he was doing, but I think he also liked the excitement. Anyway, back to the point. This guy (Nutmeg Books in Torrington, CT) buys and sells all varieties of racist and anti-Semitic propaganda. Most of his customers are anti, not pro, this type of thinking. Those early pamphlets of Duke's would be a valuable tool in fighting him by using his own words.
