I do have a little racist literature I've collected over time, stuff with a Louisiana focus. "Close That Bedroom Door" comes to mind. Oh, yeah, and "A Coon Alphabet." Other things, too, "The Leopard's Spot," but that's not Louisiana. It's all packed away, as it's very hard to explain to people that one simply has an historical interest. I used to collect a lot of Louisiana books. It's a simple fact of life that slavery existed, and it's also a simple fact of life that racism existed, and still exists, so I have no problem with documenting it, and don't think that's an endorsement.
